Mashpods FAQ

What is Mashpods?

Mashpods lets you build a personalized daily audio podcast from the feeds you choose. You can combine news, tech, weather, and niche sources into one briefing.

How does a mash work?

A mash is your custom mix of feeds. You pick sources, we fetch new entries, summarize and transcribe them, then compile a single episode.

How often are episodes generated?

You can schedule daily or weekly episodes. Jobs run in the background and produce fresh audio when new eligible entries are available.

Can I choose only specific feed categories?

Yes. Feed selection is per mash, and you can include or remove sources any time.

Why do I see fewer items than expected?

Mashpods may skip stale items, untranscribed items, or near-duplicate stories from lower-priority sources so your episode stays concise.

How does sign-in work?

Mashpods uses passwordless sign-in via magic links. Enter your email, open the link, and you are signed in.

Can I include weather updates?

Yes. Enable weather in mash settings and set coordinates. Weather becomes part of your feed mix automatically.
